Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join our Chapter. We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of fun doing so. Please come to our next meeting or event as our guest.
The Chapter holds monthly meetings the third Tuesday of the month at the Copper Canyon Cafe, 5455 Gibson SE, Albuquerque, NM. These meetings feature: presentations on many aspects of aviation, resource sharing by pilots and builders, and a friendly get-together for members and visitors.
Our Chapter also presents scholarship awards each year to those up to 25 years of age who are currently seeking education in aviation such as flight training, A&P certification, ect. The amount and number of grants are determined by our Board of Directors each year contingent on the amount of funding available.
